Our History
W.H.Y., Inc. was founded in 2021 to take a stand in helping combat fatal overdoses and give a voice to those who have already lost their battle. The Centers for Disease Control reports that In 2020, 100,306 drug overdose deaths occurred in the United States. Of those overdoses that were reported, 75% or 75,673 were specifically attached to an opioid. These numbers are getting higher each year. Help us help those at risk. W.H.Y., Inc. is a registered 501 (c) 3 organization with the IRS.

Henry Anderson, Jr.
Mr. Anderson joined our Board of Directors in May, 2021 and served as a valued member of Board until his passing on December 4, 2021. Mr. Anderson brought with him 28 years of experience in education and a profound insight on reaching the youth of our country.
