Memory Block Quilt
They are more than a number in a statistical chart ...
Too many Mothers, Sisters, Aunts, Daughters, Wives, & Grandmothers along with too many Fathers, Brothers, Uncles, Sons, Husbands, Grandfathers, and Friends have lost their battle to a fatal overdose. Families, Loved Ones, and Friends around the world are left to grieve the loss of these overdoses. Unfortunately, for those not related to or who didn't know the victim, these beings often become a forgotten number in a file in the coroner's office. This memory block quilt can change that. This quilt will be used as a space to memorialize the loved one as a human so that every person who fell victim to a fatal overdose can be remembered and their voices can be heard. We are in this together and we will not allow your voices to be forgotten. We Hear You!
